This blog aims to put down a few memories and thoughts of my late lovely wife; Lisa.

Photos

In the course of re-vamping my website, I have omitted to re-publish photographs I have of Sarah. This is on the ToDo list, but might take a little while...

2018 Update

I’m in the process of revamping my website at www.singability.com which has prompted me to add another entry to Lisa’s memorial blog. And boy, there’s a lot to add!

Firstly, for those of you who are in the same position that I was 12 years ago, I’d like to offer you a ray of hope.  Although I have a tear in my eye as I write this, I am a very happy, functional person now.  I still miss Lisa obviously, but time has taken away the pain on a day to day basis. I still keep an eye out for Wolves - Lisa would have been very excited to see them in the Premier League again - and notice particular shades of blue that would have appealed to her. But now the memories are pleasant as often as they are painful.

In 2015 I got married to Sarah and this summer, her son Zack passed all his GCSEs and moved up to Barnet so he could live with his dad and go to 6th college up there.  I’m pretty sure that Lisa would have been pleased, though I can’t imagine what she would have thought about the chaos surrounding Brexit and Trump at the moment.

Wolves are promoted - Tuesday, 21 April 2009

Lisa would have been very proud as Wolverhampton Wanderers have been promoted to the Premier League.

2nd Anniversary - Wednesday, 25 June 2008

Tomorrow is the second anniversary of Lisa’s death.
I’ve got a concert at school; after that I’ll go and put some flowers at the crash site.  At the weekend I’ve got a concert with Tarrington Brass, so I’ll get a chance to see some old friends and Lisa’s mum.

Introduction - Saturday, 16 February 2008

I’ve almost learnt to live without Lisa now.  Whereas I once thought that I could never be happy again, I’m now making plans for the future.
I now want to get down those little things that I’m worried about forgetting.
I’d really like those of you who knew her to add your own memories and thoughts too.
To do this please add comments to this entry.
Thank you.
